Abstract
An embedded lossless wavelet image coder that uses a multi-partitioning algorithm with bit-trunking (LMP-BT) is described. By dynamically adjusting the partitions based on the wavelet transformed coefficients, it achieves simpler complexity than and superior coding efficiency over the other coder in embedded mode, without the zerotree analysis.
