Abstract
A novel dual-band hybrid coupler with source to load impedance transformation is presented together with detailed design formulas.Previous couplers were either dual-band or impedance transforming but not both. A dual-band impedance transforming coupler is designed accordingly for demonstration. Experimental results obtained agree well with both the numerical and simulated results. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
