Abstract
A bidirectional dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) is investigated. The rectangular DRA is used, which resonates in its TE215
y mode. As a demonstration, it is designed to operate at 5.80 GHz for WLAN applications. Its reflection coefficient, radiation pattern, and antenna gain of the bidirectional DRA were simulated and measured.
