Research output: Chapters, Conference Papers, Creative and Literary WorksRGC 12 - Chapter in an edited book (Author)peer-review

Abstract

Prospect theory (PT) is a Nobel-prize winning behavioral economic theory proposed by Daniel Kahneman and Amos Tversky. It explains the decisions among alternatives under uncertainty by taking into account the human psychology. It generalizes the expected utility theory (EUT), which fails to explain a collection of observations involving risky choices.
