    Abstract

Cooperation among different partners in a supply chain is very important to improve the entire supply chain performance. In particular, for perishable products, cooperation can greatly reduce costs of supplier, producer and retailer. By considering cooperation in a three-echelon supply chain, an integrated production-inventory model for perishable products in supply chain is developed. A cost sharing mechanism is introduced to ensure equitable and fair distribution of benefits of integration. © 2009 IEEE.
