Abstract
This paper reported fluorescent labels which were made by encapsulating quantum dots (QDs) in polystyrene nanoparticles with carboxyl groups and used to stain cells. The fluorescent capsules were characterized by TEM and FTIR and the stained cells were studied under laser scanning confocal microscope. © World Scientific Publishing Company.
