N2 - The chemical method was used to prepare CoXFe3-XO4 nanoparticles at a fairly low temperature. The morphology and crystal structure of the particles were investigated with TEM and XRD techniques. The Mossbauer spectra obtained at room temperature from the samples could be satisfactorily resolved into the central doublet superimposed on a distinct sextet pattern. The superparamagnetic properties were discussed in terms of the observed particle size effect.
