Abstract

A method of measuring the heat transfer data of anisotropic electrical laminated steels is described. The method employs a two-dimensional field mapping technique, which minimizes the error between the predicted and the measured field distributions. The field calculation is performed by using an iterative finite-difference approximation. Experimental measurements are presented, and the results demonstrate the effectiveness of the method.
