Abstract

In this paper, we present a terahertz planar Yagi antenna fed by corrugated substrate integrated waveguide (CSIW) the CSIW structure creates electrical sidewalls by open-circuit microstrip stubs, which eliminates the metallic vias in conventional substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) and thus reduces the fabrication complexity the Yagi antenna excited by the CSIW transmission line can operate in 227-295 GHz band with 5.13-6.4 dBi gain. And the cross-polarization level is below -10 dB.
