Abstract

Single-atom catalysts (SACs) with well-designed atomic structure provide a cost-efficient solution for sustainable hydrogen production. In a recent issue of Nature, Zhang and co-workers reported the phase engineering of MoS2 nanosheets to enable the atomic dispersion of high-loading Pt atoms. The 1T′-MoS2-supported Pt SACs demonstrated remarkable electrocatalytic hydrogen production performance. © 2023 Elsevier Inc.
