Abstract
Digital microfluidics (DMF) is a promising technique for miniaturization and automation. However, temperature effects in DMF were not extensively studied so far. Here we introduce a new thin film optical temperature sensor based on CsPbBr3 nanocrystals in a fluoropolymer matrix. We show that CsPbBr3 nanocrystalHyflon AD 60 polymer composite films exhibit good water resistance for at least one month and strong temperature sensitivity (1.12% K-1). These thin films were integrated with DMF platforms for thermal mapping. The results indicate a local temperature between 10.6 and 18.1 K with an operation of voltage from 80 to 120 V.
