Abstract
The path loss in the out-of-sight (OOS) regions for a variety of urban environments is calculated using the ray tracing technique. The path loss of the OOS street can be affected by the neighboring streets. The intersection angle of the OOS street may cause significant changes in the path loss. When the OOS street is directed away from the transmitter, the path loss increases rapidly.
