Abstract

We consider the joint activity detection and channel estimation for massive connectivity in MIMO-OFDM systems. An OAMP-MMV algorithm (see definitions in Sec. I) is employed. Different error orthogonality requirements of such MIMO-OFDM systems are studied and evaluated. Simulation results confirm the potential advantages of multi-carrier joint transmission, especially in an indoor environment.
