Abstract

Some kinds of bisazo pigments and single-crystal hydrazone derivatives have been synthesized and three types of experimental organic photoconductors for advanced electrophotography were prepared and tested. The result shows that under visible light the photoconductor of ortho-chloride bisazo pigment is far more sensitive than p-chloride and non-chloride bisazo pigments. Its sensitivity reaches 0.71 Lx.s and is appropriate for advanced xerography. © (1999) COPYRIGHT Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE).
