Abstract
The Cauchy problem of the Landau equation with frictional force is investigated. Based on Fourier analysis and nonlinear energy estimates, the optimal convergence rate to the steady state is obtained under some conditions on initial data. © 2012 Wuhan Institute of Physics and Mathematics.
