N2 - In this paper optimal awareness coverage problem for mobile sensor networks with awareness loss is addressed, where the goal is to guarantee full awareness coverage of all points of interest while maximizing stability margin of awareness coverage or lifetime of a sensor network. Given a closed path, it is shown that an optimal speed controller on the path can be computed by solving a linear program problem. Simulation examples are also given to validate the proposed approach. © 2013 IEEE.
