Abstract
Previous research in adaptive negotiation agents has raised some challenging learning issues for further investigation. However, existing adaptive negotiation agents are still primitive in terms of what they can learn (e.g., price only) and their sensitivity to the changing negotiation issues. This paper discusses a novel framework of applying the well-known AGM belief revision logic to develop adaptive negotiation agents. Based on our initial implementation, this belief-based persuasive learning mechanism is illustrated with some examples. To our best knowledge, this is the first attempt of developing adaptive negotiation agents based on belief revision logic.
