Abstract
We review some of the uniqueness results in inverse acoustic and electromagnetic obstacle scattering problems. The emphasis is given to the recent progress on unique determination of general polyhedral scatterers by the far field data corresponding to a single or several incident fields. © 2008 IOP Publishing Ltd.
