Abstract

A design of phase-modulation spreading sequence for spread spectrum multiple access communication system with full response continuous phase modulation (CPM) was introduced. The performance bound of the spread spectrum multiple access (SSMA) communication system with phase-modulation spreading sequences under Rayleigh fading channel was derived. Desired spectral property and lower bit-error-rate over Rayleigh fading channel were achieved by the CPM with the phase-modulation spreading sequences in the code division multiple access (CDMA) communication system. © 2001 IEEE
