Abstract
A suboptimal Kalman-filter-type recursive estimation algorithm is developed for a given hybrid system, which eventually evolves to include dynamic systems with mild nonlinearity. Computer simulations are carried out to verify the developed filtering scheme with some comparison. It shows that the new algorithm is an effective option for hybrid system filtering.
