Abstract

Landsat 1 images of the coastal area from the Humber to the Wash were examined using multispectral scanner data processed on an IBM 360 computer. It was found from the map produced that there is an area of high sediment concentration in the Inner Dowsing region which does not change markedly with tides and wind as the Humber Estuary and the Wash do. -from Authors
