Oak Ridge hosts applications workshop

Abstract

From October 1–3, 2001 a workshop on Applications of Neutron Scattering to Materials Science was held in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The workshop was organized through the Joint Institute for Neutron Sciences (JINS). Sponsors included Oak Ridge Associated Universities, University of Tennessee, Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), Georgia Institute of Technology, and North Carolina State University. More than 160 attended from universities, government laboratories, and industry; many were graduate students with no prior experience in neutron scattering. © 2002, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
