Abstract
In this paper, a novel Nonuniformly Sampling Delta Modulation (NS-DM) technique is investigated; its characteristics and implementation scheme are also described. The results have shown that the technique has the advantages of a higher coding efficiency, and a larger signal-to-noise ratio as compared to that of the conventional DM.
