Abstract
It is pointed out that a recent two-photon interference experiment [Z.Y. Ou et al., Phys. Rev. A 41 (1990) 566] can be modified to realize an optimal quantum eraser. A detailed analysis shows that the nonlocal correlation is the key for a delayed choice experiment in the demonstration of a quantum eraser.
