Abstract
Under digital convergence, there are other new media platforms such as Internet Protocol TV (IPTV), mobile TV and Over-the-Top (OTT) video services, which are joining the ranks of the competition along with traditional media. In recent years, users have witnessed the emergence of these new services. Not only does the new medium have an impact on the traditional media owing to displacement or complementary effects between media platforms, but it also has an impact on the users as a result of the added choices and flexibility provided by the new media (Liu and Hsu, 2011). Unlike traditional TV live programs, live streaming is not only full of User Generated Content (UGC), but also allows real-time interaction between viewers and hosts. With the development of live streaming, there are different forms of live broadcasts. In recent years, live streaming services have brought great challenges to traditional TV services. This presentation aims to introduce different forms of storytelling on live streaming platforms.
