Abstract

Museall, Egonomy, interactive museum installation, presented during Nodem Symposium exhibition, Network of design and cultural heritage. Curator Sarah Kenderdine, Creative Media Center, School of creative Media, City University of Hong Kong, Museall is a tool for musems to explore large scale iconographic databases. The spatial organisation of content is managed by EGONOMY, a revolutionary AI agent (“Maïeutic Engine”) based on behaviour analysis. "Tunnels around the World" was the first public use of Egonomy engine. Museuall is dedicated to museum content discovery. This big research program conceived and directed by MB received 15 millions HK$ from the French Ministry of Research and represent 30 millions HK$ of partner’s investment. The research consortium includes Centre à l’Energie Atomique (CEA), Centre Pompidou Lab. (IRI), Reunion des Musées Nationaux, Ogilvy and Mathers, COLT, LUTIN Lab Universtities Paris 8 and Lyon 2… The wireless user interaction uses a depth camera (ASUS XPRO) to observe the user's behavior and adapt dynamically the content to this observation.
