Abstract
Consider a MIMO networked control system with uncertainty time varying sensors and controller event-driven actuators, and network-induced time delays that are less than the sampling period. Sensors that fail to transmit data are assumed to be temporarily invalid. The networked control system with sensor faults was modeled as a system with system uncertainties. The sufficient condition for stability was found using the Lyapunov method. Separate approaches are derived for the controller and the observer based on solutions of the linear matrix inequalities. The resulting fault-tolerant MIMO networked control system is found to effectively handle sensor failure and develop.
