title = "Millimeter Wave Horn Antenna with Tilted Beam",
abstract = "A broadband directional equal-beamwidth millimeter-wave(mmW) horn antenna is proposed in this paper. A shovel-shaped structure is used for the aperture surface of the traditional rectangular horn antenna, which can tilt the beam toward the opening of the shovel-shaped structure. To verify the idea, a horn antenna with a down-tilted beam was designed, fabricated, and measured. The measured results are in good agreement with the simulated ones. A measured 49.9% 15-dB impedance bandwidth can be obtained, from 25.4 to 42.3 GHz, which can fully cover the Ka band of 26.5-40 GHz, and its downtilt angle of the main beam is 13° at 31.5 GHz. {\textcopyright} 2022 IEEE.",
