Abstract

A novel microstrip bandpass filter using series-connected triangular patches is proposed. Centered at 1.34 GHz, the insertion loss of the second resonant mode is about 18-dB below that of the first mode. A demonstration filter is designed, fabricated, and tested. The theoretical and experimental results are presented. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
