Abstract

We demonstrate electro-optic modulation on a monolithic lithium niobate nanophotonic platform up to 40 Gb/s. We show electro-optic efficiency as high as 7 pm/V in microresonators and half-wave voltage length product as low as 2 Vcm in micro-Mach-Zehnder interferometers.
