Abstract
Novel mesoscopic organic nanosheets were developed by functionalizing bulk 2D organic covalent framework polymers with small molecules. The water-soluble fluorescent nanosheets are promising as nanocarriers for biological applications. © 2011 The Royal Society of Chemistry.
