Abstract

This paper investigates and demonstrates measurement for terahertz metasurfaces using the far-field scanning technique. A THz coding reflective metasurface with reconfigurable beam functions is utilized as the measured prototype. The radiation patterns of the metasurface under test are obtained with a stable gain and minimal beam direction deviation over the operating frequencies ranging from 0.28 to 0.31THz, and the simulated and measured results of the metasurface radiation patterns made a good agreement.
