Abstract

A numerical investigation of the macromixing effect on the bistable ClO2-+I- reaction based on the global fluid flow field was undertaken in this work. Results obtained in this study indicated that the mixing intensity has a significant effect on the location and transition point of the thermodynamic branch, but has nearly no effect on the flow branch. © 1995 American Institute of Physics.
