    Abstract

    Two novel luminescent rhenium(I) diimine indole complexes have been designed and their properties studied; these conjugates can be recognised by indole-binding proteins including bovine serum albumin, lysozyme and tryptophanase. © The Royal Society of Chemistry 2003
