Abstract
Excellent low-temperature superplasticity (<300 °C) was observed in the ECAP-processed materials: elongations to failure are 810% and 570% at a strain rate of 3×10-3 s-1 for ZK60 and AZ91 alloys, respectively. Internal friction can be practically used to determine the optimum temperature for superplasticity. © 2003 Acta Materialia Inc. Publised by Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
