Abstract

LOST TEXTURES is a site-specific installation, 17th-15th floor, stairwell, H Queen's, 80 Queen's Road Central, Hong Kong at "Exit Strategies" produced by David HY Chan.
Material used include: stainless steel boards, laser engraved aluminum boards, metallic kitchen utensils, metal box covers, stainless steel tubes, steel screws Dimension variable. Queen's Road Central and its surroundings in the 1930s unfolded for its lost everyday textures, and re-wrapped through artistic re-invention for the 21st visitors. The work was conceived and executed by Linda C.H. Lai, in collaboration with 3 members of the Floating Projects Collective.
