Abstract

Locally Er-doped near-stoichiometric LiNbO3 have been fabricated on congruent crystals using thermal in-diffusion of erbium and vapour transport equilibration treatment. The properties were studied systematically, and the crystals are promising for integrated optics applications. copyright (c) 2008 IEICE.
