Abstract

The linear tuning ability of cantilevers with different sizes was analyzed. Using an appropriate size cantilever, the linear tuning of Bragg wavelength of fiber grating was tested. The chirped output caused by the varied strain along the cantilever axis was observed. The broadening can be decreased by selecting short grating.
