Abstract

The Strait of Malacca serves as one of the busiest seaways in the world. Without the lighthouses to guide ships through the channel safely, seafarers would have faced countless dangers through the unpredictable sea. Lighthouse such as the Malacca Harbour Light, the first lighthouse ever established in Malacca, are prime examples of the navigational wonders that helped prosper economic success in a once prominent port.
