Abstract

This paper studies the leader-following consensus problem of multi-agent systems with general linear dynamics. We first propose a novel event-triggered control scheme to solve the problem. It is shown that the leader-following consensus of the controlled multi-agent system can be achieved asymptotically. The feasibility of the proposed control scheme is further verified by excluding Zeno behavior for each agent. An example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.
