Abstract
A nonlinear extended recursive least square algorithm for the joint estimation of the amplitude and delay of the user signals in CDMA system over impulsive channels is presented. Simulation results show that by using a nonlinear function to palliate the effect of the impulse noise, the new algorithm can provide a robust performance quite close to the Cramer-Rao lower bound.
