    Abstract

    An efficient vision system is important for a robot to see and behave in an office or structured environments. Automatic calibration and 3D reconstruction are the critical steps towards those vision tasks. In this chapter, we firstly give a brief introduction about the background of the vision system and a general review of the relevant work. Then we present the scope, objectives and motivations of this book.
