Abstract
An innovative method was developed based on controlled solidification in the liquid-solid two-phase region to produce spherical crystalline particles dispersed in the amorphous matrix. This new processing method can greatly improve both ductility and strength of bulk metallic glass composites. © 2006 Acta Materialia Inc.
