Abstract
This paper study the influence of a moving manikin under stratum ventilation with two different return air outlet layouts, "middle in low out" and "middle in upper out". The moving speed was 1 m/s. The temperature, velocity and CO2 distribution were measured. The results showed that when the manikin moved by the seated person every 10s, the influence on temperature and CO2 distribution in breathing zone was relative small under both layouts. It illustrates that the movement of the manikin did not enlarge the diffusion effect under stratum ventilation, and stratum ventilation could provide reasonable good air quality in breathing zone even though there is frequent disturbances.
