Abstract

FM-DCSK transmitted reference modulation scheme with autocorrelation receiver offers a very robust and simple transceiver configuration. However the noise performance of such a system is relatively poor. Although the theoretical noise performance of transmitted reference systems has been derived, its validation by real measurements has not yet been carried out. The paper shows the implementation of an FM-DCSK system on USRP platform based on the complex envelope approach. The theoretical noise performance of FM-DCSK modulation scheme with autocorrelation receiver is validated through real measurements.
