Abstract
In this paper, the global regularization problem is investigated for nonlinear differential-algebraic equation systems. The concept of global generalized characteristic number is defined. A global regularization algorithm is proposed to identify the constraints hidden behind the algebraic equations. A regularizing state feedback controller is constructed based on the regularization algorithm. © 2006 IEEE.
