Abstract

Moment method is introduced to the numerical analysis of near-field imaging and the simulated image of a 3D object is presented. To determine the relation between the shape of the tip of the sensor and the resolution of the image, genetic algorithm is employed to search for the optimal parameters, which will provide the best resolution of the near-field images. Through detailed observation on the relationship between gradient estimator and the FIR high-pass filter, the basic structure for the frequency selective weighted medial (FSWM) criterion function is derived.
