Abstract
Studies universal aspects of the small-amplitude regime of a stratified multilayer system of inviscid fluids by analytical methods. The main result is to show that a surprising range of features of a multilayer system is independent of the geometry, equations of state for the fluids, and the underlying equilibrium state. It is these universal features on which the authors focus their attentions. -from Authors
