Further results on approximation of the optimal threshold values for manufacturing systems

Abstract

Numerical algorithms are developed for approximating the optimal threshold values of manufacturing systems. Gradient estimates of the objective function are constructed with respect to the threshold values, and stochastic recursive algorithms are used for locating the optimal value.
