Abstract

A class of fractional lower-order moment based adaptive algorithms for estimating the time difference of arrival between signals received at two spatially separated sensors in the presence of impulsive noise modeled as a stable process is proposed. Convergence of the algorithms is discussed and simulation results are included to evaluate their comparative delay estimation performances.
